← DailyScenes

See the story. Not just the headline.

The world doesn’t have a shortage of news. It has a shortage of clarity.

Every day, the same event can be reported by dozens — sometimes hundreds — of sources. The facts may overlap, but the framing, emphasis, context, and conclusions can be very different.

Read one article, and you see one version of the story. Read another, and you may see something entirely different.

We built Daily Scenes because we wanted a better way to understand what is actually happening.

Built from a simple question

What is the full picture?

Daily Scenes is a news intelligence layer on top of journalism. We bring together reporting from across sources and use AI to help you understand the information around a story — without asking you to rely on a single article, outlet, or perspective.

You can use Daily Scenes at the depth that suits you. Read an individual article from your personalised Today feed or explore what is Trending. Listen to an article when you would rather hear it than read it. Or step back and see the whole story — every source that covered it, in one place.

From one article to the whole story

An individual article gives you a starting point. When you open an article in Daily Scenes, you can go beyond the original reporting with additional context, background, implications, related coverage, and AI analysis.

That analysis can help you understand how the reporting fits into the wider story, what other sources are saying, how well-supported the claims are, and where there may be uncertainty or disagreement.

Then there is the whole story, which brings together reporting from every article and source covering the same event. This is where you can see the bigger picture:

Instead of consuming news one article at a time, you can understand how the pieces fit together.

We don’t decide for you

Daily Scenes isn’t built to tell you which side to believe. We believe people are capable of making their own judgments. What they often don’t have is enough context.

So our job is to make the information easier to navigate, compare, and understand — bringing perspectives, evidence, context, and uncertainty into view.

We don’t want to tell you what to think. We want to give you enough of the picture to decide for yourself.

Distance, not politics: there is no left/right axis anywhere in Daily Scenes, because we measure claims against records, not outlets against each other.

Why “Daily Scenes”?

Because a story is more than a headline. It is made up of people, events, claims, evidence, perspectives, reactions, and changes over time.

A scene is our way of putting those pieces together so you can see what is happening around a story — not just what one source chose to show you.

A clearer way to follow the world

News will always be complicated. There will always be disagreement, uncertainty, and different perspectives. That’s not something we want to hide. We want to make it visible.

Daily Scenes is built to help you move from information to understanding.

Read the article. Hear the story. See the scene. Understand the bigger picture.

Corrections

We will get things wrong. The ways are specific, so here they are: a headline attributed to the wrong masthead, a filing time that is off, a story grouped with reports that do not belong to it, or a reading that misreads what a piece actually said.

Email hello@dailyscenes.app. Tell us what is wrong and where you saw it — a link or a screenshot is enough. You do not need an account, and you do not need to be the outlet involved.

Corrections are published on the page that carried the error, dated, with the original claim left visible above the fix. We do not quietly edit and move on: a page that has been corrected says so.

We answer every report within two working days, whether or not we agree with it. If we disagree, we say why.

The closed beta

Signing up now joins the closed beta, not a public launch. Places go out in batches, and we will email you when yours is ready.

It is early, and that is the point: what the first readers tell us shapes what this becomes. If something is wrong, or missing, or simply worse than it should be, we would rather hear it now.
